Administrative Building developed as a part of a large masterplan project by JDVDP Arquitectes for the city of Teresina, Piauí. The masterplan’s goal was to offer a large leisure area around the lakes of the city of Teresina, which is the only state in the Northeast of Brazil that is not located on the coast, therefore has no beaches. Along with this program were developed cultural, educational and sport facilities, as well as the Boa Esperança Administrative Building. The program includes office spaces, public administration offices, event spaces, an auditorium, a café and an open plaza. The building was developed in collaboration with JDVDP’s principal Robert de Paauw and fellow architect Ana Kawazoe.
